Finally Out and About

Now that Brendon has his shots, I am finally not as paranoid and I take him out and about with me. From grocery shopping, to errands, to finally getting to visit Andrew’s brother in Colorado Springs, I take him everywhere I go. Its fun taking him everywhere with me and he is becoming my little shadow. It is definitely a lot of work taking him with me because he has the hardest time in his car seat. He screams his head off in the car whenever we stop. If the car is moving he’s usually fine, but as soon as the car stops even for a light, he goes crazy! But this is nothing compared to how he acted at Andrew’s brother’s house. He isn’t completely used to a lot of people so when we were handing our little boy over to his Uncle and Aunt, he was so unhappy. He gave the cutest little pout, and after a few minutes he would start to cry. He was so unhappy and fussy the entire 3 hours we spent at their house. They had tons of kids running around their house and Brendon isn’t used to a ton of commotion. I think it was just too much for the little guy and he was quick to let us know that it was bothering him. As soon as we walked into our house his demeanor did a 360 and he went from fussy and crying to smiling and so happy to be home. Everything was different at their house and he hated it! I guess I didn’t realize that a 9 week old could be so observant to their environment. It’s great that he’s so alert, but he is almost too alert cause he is understanding things so quickly that when there is one tiny thing he doesn’t like, he lets us know immediately. He has a new way of crying, and it is the cutest little cry that sounds like he is saying, “I am so annoyed by this!” My little cutie pie is just trying to get used to new people and new environments. Hopefully it will come along as he gets out and about!
