It’s crazy how quickly Brendon is learning. He understands when we tell him to get objects such as his doggie, ball, and a few other toys. He is starting to say doggie and diaper. He’s such a smartie pants and he is so funny with how much he loves his toys. The best is when we take him to a store and walk down the toy isle. He goes crazy and starts babbling and pointing and all the toys he wants to see. So cute!

Here’s the Bdawg opening some of his birthday gifts. I got him some bath toys and then I got him this really cool toy that you put a ball on a little coaster, it goes down into a hole and then shoots up. He loves the balls. Andrew taught Brendon how to throw a ball over Christmas time so now whenever he gets his hands on a ball he throws it and acts all proud of himself. It’s so funny!

Well, here he is on his 1st Birthday enjoying his cake! He was so funny because he would not touch the cake. He would eat it like a doggie. Take a look at the video, it is so hilarious! Brendon doesn’t like to get his hand’s dirty or sticky, he’s such a silly boy.
One year has gone by so quickly and as I was putting him to sleep and giving him his last 1st Birthday kisses I nearly started crying because time goes so quickly. I don’t think there are enough minutes in the day to enjoy my little boy, especially on his first birthday. Time is going so fast and it’s crazy how big he gets and how he learns so quickly.
Take a look at the video and you’ll get a good giggle!

Hey Everyone!
Here is a clip of Brendon’s new Roller Coaster! I got this for him for Christmas and his Birthday. We saw one at Andrew’s brother’s house and I thought he’d like it. And oh yes he does! He loves it so much that as you will see in the video, when we’d try to take him out of it he’d cry and go crazy. He stayed in it for about 40 mins because he didn’t want to get out. But we had to cut him off! I’m glad he loves his gift and we had so much fun playing with him and watching him go around and around.
Things are great with the big boy! He’s crawling like crazy and get’s into everything. He talks a ton saying mama, dada, allie, and hi. He waves bye bye, he plays patty cake, he points to what he wants to see, he throws a ball on command, and the most recent adorable thing he does is…when you give him a photo of himself and tell him to "kiss the baby" he takes the picture and kisses it. It’s so cute! My mom taught him and he caught on in just a few tries. Brendon is pretty smart and its so fun playing with him now that he understands so much. Time is flying by and we are all doing great! Hopefully soon we will have tons of pics of Christmas in California on the site.
Christmas was a blast! My mom spoiled Brendon rotten playing with him, carrying him everywhere we went, and getting him the most adorable kitchen play set that he just loves! And of course both my brothers and Auntie Alexis spoiled him rotten. Lots of toys and everyone catered to the little monster! The funny part is he just loved my dad and seemed to take to him the quickest out of everyone. Also, he didn’t cry once this time with my mom, he remembered her right away, so that was nice to pass him off quickly.
Also on our trip to Cali for the very first time we left him overnight. We celebrated our anniversary at the Del Coranado in San Diego and it was a blast! It was rainy, but it was beautiful by the beach and we enjoyed having our first night alone together since Brendon was born! Well, time is flying and it’s soon to be the BDawg’s birthday! Hopefully all family and friends are doing well, send us an email, we’d love to hear from all of you!

Things have been pretty busy here in Colorado. Brendon is now about 20 lbs and crawling. His favorite word is “Allie”. We are all decorated now for Christmas with lights inside and outside of the house. We’ve updated some photos on Brendon’s page with pictuers of our tree and new pictures of Brendon.
Our 3rd Anniversary has past and Jen got me a Nintendo Wii. We love it, and have had some fun with the sports game. I’m going to treat Jen to dinner and a hotel at the places we ate and stayed at after our wedding in San Diego. We plan to do that in December.
Well, we haven’t made many updates to the site lately. Jen came up with the idea of making a site for the Twilight books and the new movie that recently came out, so we’ve been busy putting that together (www.TwilightMovies.org). So far things are going well with that site, and we are getting a good amount of traffic.
I plan to re-do the whole family site over Christmas and install Word Press so that it’s easier for Jen to make updates to the site. Once that is done, you’ll start to see posts more frequently.

For everyone who is wondering what in the world happened to us, just to let you all know we are still alive. These last few months have been crazy. From visiting my mom in Cali, to painting A LOT in our house, to new valences for all the rooms, to just about everything! Then when things started back into a normal pace Andrew and Brendon got sick with colds. It’s always so much fun having to deal with two babies. Actually, Andrew wasn’t too sick but whatever Andrew had, Brendon manifested about ten times worse. There is nothing worse then having to watch your little baby suffer. Recently when I took him for his 9 month appointment, I almost passed out having to watch the doctors poke him various times. His loud screaming and crying definitely made a little wetness well up in my eyes. No one likes to see thier babies in pain. I guess the truth is, you have no idea what the potential for love is until you have a child.
Well, as for Brendon things are going great! He’s eating meat and cherrios now. It’s fun to watch him put food in his mouth. He puts it in his mouth and then spits it right at, pretty entertaining. I give him about 20 cherrios, and by the time he’s done, they are all gone from his feeding tray, but I know he didn’t eat them cause he spit them all back out. The funny part is that when I go to look for them on the ground or on his clothes, I can’t find them. So basically, there’s a bunch of missing cherrios. Hmm…I have no clue where they are going. Maybe I’m not watching Allie close enough, I didn’t see her eating them off the ground, but its not like cherrios dissappear. Unless someone else knows something I don’t. So life is busy, the house is coming along with paint, valences, a few new pieces of furniture and decorations on the wall. I promise to update the house pictures once we’ve painted our bedroom. And I’ll definitely be adding new pictures of Brendon. We got the cutest little costume for him for Halloween. He’s my little Honey Bear! And don’t forget for those of you who are my awesome friends and family. Email me! Let me know everything that is going on with all of you and how you are doing!

Now that we are well into the month of August I can give a short report on all that’s going on. The end of July ended with all of Andrew’s family in town for a very large family reunion. What a lot of work that turned out to be! With tons of kids running around, it was like a mad house whereever we went. Although there were tons of kids, all the little nieces and nephews were so much fun. With tons of energy I’d have to say they were very funny and incredibly entertaining. Just being around all of the little ones makes me want another one of my own. I know Andrew was so happy to see his family and I’m glad we got to spend time watching all of the little ones in fun activities like the zoo, the lake, and the park. The kids were absolutely hilarious at times and I really enjoyed watching Andrew spend time with all of his nieces and nephews. Other then Andrew’s very large family, all we’ve been up to is just trying to do things with the house. We finally got a fence put in and although our tiny backyard is all fenced in and it doesn’t matter to me, it seems to make Andrew really happy. Things have been going great here and the weather is finally cooling off. With tons of rain and thunderstorms it is turning into a beautiful and cool August.
